The journey to work continues

 The intersection of the Gand Concourse, East Tremont Avenue and 177th Street- part of the view as I travel from the subway then turn the corner into East Tremont and head to the school.

Neither snow nor rain ...

Having had a lovely evening at Maria's and made our way home to find that we had left some items at her house I offered to go early Saturday morning to collect them. The snow storm was a little heavier than I expected however neither snow nor rain ...nor heat nor gloom of night stays this friend from the swift completion of her offer of help.

Cardinal

I've seen this lovely cardinal twice on my walks through Morningside Park. Just sitting there minding its own business.

Colour

The walk to try to get both fit and slimmer takes me through different parts of Harlem. These Vespas would be pretty handy for  getting around the city. Maybe not when winter comes.
