Fourth of July

 Walking to meet at Starbucks on the 4th of July I passed something I hadn't expected to see. Some guys having their 4th of July BBQ on the corner of 117th Street and Manhattan Avenue. That is what one does I guess when one doesn't have a backyard.
Then I guess you get to play outside supervised on the pavement when you don't have a large enough apartment to have a "friend over".
Family shares the supervision :).
