To walk to the subway involved walking along 48th Street past the Walter Kerr Theatre. Some days this is easier than others. Today it was finding your way through umpty-dump hundreds of cables and electrical boxes as they were bumping in to the theatre for the
Muse component of the Video Music Awards.

They were still in the process of getting the signs up for this "one night only" performance.

other times walking that same short stretch there is absolutely nothing on the path and then again if there is a show on in the theatre it is impossible to get past on a Wednesday afternoon as the audience try to find their way out of the theatre to their cars or wherever they are headed. This usually means that I have to walk onto the roadway to get past the theatre itself and home.
