December Daze #12

Spoiler alert! This one is going to be tricky. This day's prompt..

What made you dance in 2012? What made you weep?
In developing her prompt, Jani said, "I love to focus on the things that make people feel deeply - both kinds of emotions, sad & happy, but intense!".

Dancing happened quite a bit this year I just need to find a way to catch those moments better in 2013.

The times and places I danced in 2012...
  • the African Safari with my lovely and loving sister Michele;
  • the birthdays celebrations in Barcelona and France;
  • Andrew, Lynne, Nick and Kate visiting NYC; Andrew & Lynne visiting NYC;
  • All the visitors to NYC especially including Anne Marie;
  • The journeys to be with friends especially Brussels;
  • Going and coming home;
  • Being reunited.
The times and things that made me weep in 2012...

The death of my big brother Tony- how could that happen? He would have been 66 on December 5. He was always looking out for us and being the "big brother" and now he's gone.

The rejection in the relationships. Friendships and relationships have rebuilt over the year and brought much dancing but the year began with much weepeing.

The shootings in Sandy Elementary school- how could he shoot those little kids? The bravery of those teachers.
